This is my Ireland video, it is a bit late but please enjoy!
(Igneous includes Volcanic rock which is why we built this city on Rock and roll)

The Giant's Causeway

We went to the Giant’s Causeway on May the 6th in freezing cold weather, that’s why in the photo I’m not standing at the top of the pillars because it was so windy and I would definitely fall off! We also saw these cool rock formations: there was the Giants boot, the wishing chair, the organ pipes. They are really cool because they are all natural as well. The organ pipes are awesome because they are like the pillars on the causeway but they are huge!! They shoot out of the ground and go straight up. There is this cool place called the amphitheatre; it is kind of like the organ pipes except that it goes in a big horseshoe shape. The amphitheatre used to be open to the public but now you can’t because there was a landslide and the fence broke. (WAAAA!) There was a camel and lots of other stuff but I couldn’t see them. I don’t like how the National Trust shut away all of the good things grrrrrrrrr!

London & Brighton

On Saturday We went to Brighton We went to the Brighton Pier and we went on some rides at an Amusement park. We made all of the little rides that had slots where you put the money in work! I went on this really cool ride with mum. It goes really fast and it goes up and down and makes you want to throw up!
We also took the train to London. And we went and saw heaps of stuff! we saw... Buckingham palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and we also saw the New Zealand War memorial! it was fun but we were only there for a day. We saw Guards and they did this little marching thingie with their legs and they put their legs up really high it must of hurt. We saw Tower bridge at night so it was full of lights. The morning after we had to leave to go to Ireland so we couldn't see every thing.

The Prater Amusement Park

On Thursday we went to the Lipizzaner Stallions in Veinna. They were cool because they dance and they are white horses. One of them was doing donkey kicks and another stood up on its hind legs. It was only a morning routine though because they had to do the shows at night for some reason. We also went to this Amusement park and went on a ride that goes almost as fast as our car and it goes almost upside down! it was so fun! There was also one of those pictures were they cut out the faces and you put in yours. Mum went on a Log Ride and she screamed her head off! It was very funny. There was also a ride like a water slide where you go on a elevator that lifts you really high and then you fall down this water slide! It goes so fast and it spins non stop it is so cool! Then me, mum, Conor, Maggie and our friends Gareth and Laura went around and looked at the rides. There was a ride that kept saying Time to say goodbye and they flip it around it was weird. There was also a ride that is about 20 storeys high and it stops at the top so you are looking down! It looked so freaky to be up there!
After we went home to have lunch for Gareth's birthday.

The katakomben im wiener stephansdom (the catacombs of st stevens cathedral)

Yesterday I went to the st Stevens Cathedral. We went up to the top of the bell tower. it is so freaky that I can not begin to tell you how scary it was. And then Mum, me, Conor and Maggie went to the catacombs under the church. Catacombs are like tunnels under ground with rooms where people were buried. The first part wasnt really as I expected it because it was marble floors and walls with lots of lanterns and coffins that were very clean and tidy. But then there was another part and you go into long maze of tunnels that are made out of stone. The rooms are shut away from everyone except for some small barred windows it is soooo freaky. It has this kind of medival feeling to it because of the way it is built. There were things called bone houses wher bones were just stacked and stacked the make enough room for all of them, this is because when they built the rooms the black plauge was spreading through Europe and people were dying so fast that they could not bury them quick enough. They took prisoners and made them clean the bones and stack them. The tour guide said at one point that the prisoners dug a hole and just threw in bodies. there were about 600 people in one of the holes. It was awesome as but it was still freaky.

When we got out the sun hurt my eyes because we had been in the dark for a long time. We can't take a photo in there so I had to use a photo of the web!
