Spruce Meadows

This photo is at Spruce meadows. Spruce meadows is cool because it has heaps of horses and shows and stuff. They also have big worldwide contests because they are very famous and is one of the biggest horse places in the world. Anyway when we went to it they were having a big show jumping contest so we went for that. I got heaps of free stuff because they were throwing toy horses out to the crowd. They have really cool stuff there, I got a bird whistle you fill it up with water and you blow and it makes a bird noise! Conor got a hat that had the Canadian flag on it.

Heritage park

Hello sorry I have not been writing on here I have to fit things in between school, church, meeting with the family and other things. Yes I have started school here it is fun it is called Rosedale school. At school I am doing rights and freedoms.
Our family have gotten memberships to heritage park and the zoo. the picture above is me eating the giant lollipop I got at heritage park I got a black tongue. At heritage park they also have old houses and schools! I got to go to the school and write on the board and they had straps and whips too! I feel so sorry for the kids that lived back then it must have been painful. They also have rides there it is weird you can go on the merry go round I called one horse cow butt because it had a spotty behind.

Ok first of all i'm really bad at this I am so busy I can't find the time to write. Now I will write about what I have been doing. So we went to the lake where my nannie lives and swam in the lake it is so cool because fish come and brush against you they are icky. Also there are leeches and maggie got one stuck to her toenail. Also Catherine (my cousin) found a garder snake it was AWESOME it was cut because a cat attacked it, we called it lucky. that is all i have for today

160 and I'm not speeding

Yes, 160 and we are not speeding. In fact we are not even close to speeding. This is in Germany on the autobahn were you can go as fast as you like. Mum was really freaked out. It was fun but lots of people were going over 200.

endinburgh castle (super late verison)

Edinburgh Castle

We went to Edinburgh castle a couple of days ago it was really fun!!! it was kinda gross though because there was all these Prisoners of war stuff. It is a pretty big Castle though. It's first building was a chapel I think. It is called St Margaret's Chapel. There are all these crown jewels from the Scottish kings and queens. There is a crown with pearls and gold, a swordy thing, and assorted neclaces ring ect. ect. It was really fun to go underground and see all the prison cells. There was even this well that is more than 40 meters deep and if you fell in you would probably drown. We actually went to alot of castles like that Carrikfergus castle had a big well that has a glass window on the top of it and you can stand on it.

Edinburgh castle has all these really cool cannons and guns because the army people work there. At one O' clock the guns go off and it is loud. Sorry that I dont have any photos I will try to post them as soon as I can.

We went to Loch Ness, Yay! You probably can't see but there is a little black dot in the middle (OOOOH! that is so exciting.) I wonder what it could be!?!?!

The Giant's Causeway

We went to the Giant’s Causeway on May the 6th in freezing cold weather, that’s why in the photo I’m not standing at the top of the pillars because it was so windy and I would definitely fall off! We also saw these cool rock formations: there was the Giants boot, the wishing chair, the organ pipes. They are really cool because they are all natural as well. The organ pipes are awesome because they are like the pillars on the causeway but they are huge!! They shoot out of the ground and go straight up. There is this cool place called the amphitheatre; it is kind of like the organ pipes except that it goes in a big horseshoe shape. The amphitheatre used to be open to the public but now you can’t because there was a landslide and the fence broke. (WAAAA!) There was a camel and lots of other stuff but I couldn’t see them. I don’t like how the National Trust shut away all of the good things grrrrrrrrr!

London & Brighton

On Saturday We went to Brighton We went to the Brighton Pier and we went on some rides at an Amusement park. We made all of the little rides that had slots where you put the money in work! I went on this really cool ride with mum. It goes really fast and it goes up and down and makes you want to throw up!
We also took the train to London. And we went and saw heaps of stuff! we saw... Buckingham palace, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and we also saw the New Zealand War memorial! it was fun but we were only there for a day. We saw Guards and they did this little marching thingie with their legs and they put their legs up really high it must of hurt. We saw Tower bridge at night so it was full of lights. The morning after we had to leave to go to Ireland so we couldn't see every thing.

The Prater Amusement Park

On Thursday we went to the Lipizzaner Stallions in Veinna. They were cool because they dance and they are white horses. One of them was doing donkey kicks and another stood up on its hind legs. It was only a morning routine though because they had to do the shows at night for some reason. We also went to this Amusement park and went on a ride that goes almost as fast as our car and it goes almost upside down! it was so fun! There was also one of those pictures were they cut out the faces and you put in yours. Mum went on a Log Ride and she screamed her head off! It was very funny. There was also a ride like a water slide where you go on a elevator that lifts you really high and then you fall down this water slide! It goes so fast and it spins non stop it is so cool! Then me, mum, Conor, Maggie and our friends Gareth and Laura went around and looked at the rides. There was a ride that kept saying Time to say goodbye and they flip it around it was weird. There was also a ride that is about 20 storeys high and it stops at the top so you are looking down! It looked so freaky to be up there!
After we went home to have lunch for Gareth's birthday.

The katakomben im wiener stephansdom (the catacombs of st stevens cathedral)

Yesterday I went to the st Stevens Cathedral. We went up to the top of the bell tower. it is so freaky that I can not begin to tell you how scary it was. And then Mum, me, Conor and Maggie went to the catacombs under the church. Catacombs are like tunnels under ground with rooms where people were buried. The first part wasnt really as I expected it because it was marble floors and walls with lots of lanterns and coffins that were very clean and tidy. But then there was another part and you go into long maze of tunnels that are made out of stone. The rooms are shut away from everyone except for some small barred windows it is soooo freaky. It has this kind of medival feeling to it because of the way it is built. There were things called bone houses wher bones were just stacked and stacked the make enough room for all of them, this is because when they built the rooms the black plauge was spreading through Europe and people were dying so fast that they could not bury them quick enough. They took prisoners and made them clean the bones and stack them. The tour guide said at one point that the prisoners dug a hole and just threw in bodies. there were about 600 people in one of the holes. It was awesome as but it was still freaky.

When we got out the sun hurt my eyes because we had been in the dark for a long time. We can't take a photo in there so I had to use a photo of the web!

Singapore Zoo

On friday we went Singapore Zoo. They had shows and we went to them all,there was a show called the rainforest fights back and it is so cool! There is a baby orangutan it was so cute!
They had white Tigers,they also had cheetahs, lions,elephants,sun bears, spider monkeys, manatees, kangaro, jaguars,komodo dragons and otters. They had a place called Kidz World too, it had a water park in it and it had Ice cream!!!!!!!!!!! The best part of the water park would have to be the BIG HUGE GINORMUS bucket of water that falls on top you it had about 1000 litres of water in it and it dosent hurt went the water falls out of the bucket!!!

We have got to Singapore! It is SO hot here. This is what the airport looks like It has got lots of plants in it and It has got air conditioning!!
The hotel we are in has an X-box and a tv and it has a air conditioner too! We are going to the zoo aswell. I am watching a movie reveiw and one of the girls said someone had to kill the bad guys one by one. I have also decided that I hate airplane food

My room is getting really messy at the moment and I can hardly see the floor. This person is coming down to take photos of our house, I don't really want to go away cause I will miss the rest of school although it will be really fun. I think the worst part is that my cats Izzy and Lucky are going away until we come back. I just hope that they don't forget me. I also need to clean my room (Gasp!) which is going to take a LONG TIME. waaaaah I have to clean my room!
